Top idol groups KARA and SHINee have won the Golden Disc in Japan.

On Monday, the Recording Industry Association of Japan announced that SHINee's new single, Dazzling Girl, was on the list for the Golden Disc.

This album is their 5th single and has ranked number 2 on the Oricon Weekly Chart with over 97,000 copies sold.

KARA was also seen on the list with their new single, Electric Boy, which sold over 100,000 copies.

KARA has been popular in Japan and have been successful with every album they put out. They also ranked number 2 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

KARA has also ranked number 1 on the Recochoku chart, a ringtone chart in Japan.
