Jill Duggar just gave birth to a baby boy. The "19 Kids and Counting" star welcomed baby Israel David with her husband Derick Dillard.

Baby Israel, who is the couple's first child was born last April 6, 2015. Photos of the baby were posted on the Dillard family website, as well as on Jill's official Instagram account. "So thankful to God for this handsome little guy," Jill wrote as caption for one of her baby's photos. 

The family welcomed relatives and friends who have come to visit their baby. The other photos that the couple shared included hospital shots where the doctor and one of the nurses who cared for her during labor and delivery were seen in.

"We are so blessed to have such a great family and such great support her at the hospital with the doctors and the nursing staff," Jill said in an interview with People. "My sisters and my mom and Derick's mom have all been in to help!" 

The new mom also revealed that her husband Derick has been practicing how to burp baby Israel, and has become quite a "pro" at it.

Meanwhile, Jill's parents have been expressing their excitement about the newest addition to their brood. The grandparents posted a video on their Facebook account in which they thanked everyone who had been supporting their daughter's journey of pregnancy.

"What a blessed time this is as we welcomed our new grandbaby little Israel into the world," Michelle said. "We are just so thankful for our friends and those out there who have been praying for our family. Thank you so much."

On the other hand, Jim Bob has revealed that he's looking forward to more grandchildren. "Four grandkids and counting," he said. "Going on 200."

This will be no problem for Jill and husband Derick. The couple has shared that they plan on having more than one child. "We're open to as many children as God will give us," she shared."We believe children are a blessing from the Lord and a gift from him."
