One Direction Debuts First Photo Sans Zayn Malik! Brit Crooners Plan To Write Song About Ex-Band Mate’s Quitting?

Following Zayn Malik's departure, One Direction officially made their debut as a four-member group. On Monday, April 13, the British band's management company, Modest Management, released a revised website bio.

The first sentence of the new profile now reads: "One Direction are Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan."

The biography likewise features a new photo of the band sans Zayn Malik. Fans cannot help but notice that the remaining four members of the band are not smiling in the said photo.

Zayn Malik dropped out of the ensemble last month because of stress. His desire to be a normal 22-year-old reportedly drove him to quit the renowned band.

The remaining members have been vocal about Zayn Malik's departure. Recently, Liam Payne wrote a lengthy Twitter post about the situation.

"In light of recent events I think this is important to say. For the past five years now I've been part of something so special I don't think any of us really understand, something that can mean the world to people and put a smile on the face of our fans even in the darkest times," he wrote.

Liam Payne continued, "To a lot of people it's just a bunch of silly kids in a band but to the people involved it means so much more. This last week has been some of the worst times, possibly the worst it's something we are all deeply saddened by."

Meanwhile, an insider told Hollywood Life that One Direction might write a song about Zayn Malik's departure in their future album.

"Zayn's departure has definitely lit a fire under their butts. They are even toying with a song inspired by Zayn quitting the band," the tipster spilled.

Fans do not need to worry because if ever there will be a track, it wouldn't paint Zayn Malik in a negative light.

The boys merely wanted to "channel the emotions surrounding the situation in to a song." Tomlinson, in particular, feels more motivated because of his feud with Naughty Boy.

Tomlinson recently called the producer inconsiderate for releasing Zayn Malik's solo single. While fans thought that it was Perrie Edwards' fiance's debut single as a solo artist, it turned out that he recorded the demo for One Direction's previous album.
