Nikko Smith's wife, Margeaux Simms, confirmed that she is still married to the reality star even when the Mimi Faust sex tape came out. But the new member of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" said that she's never been the confrontational type.

"Nikko and I are married still," she said per MStarz. "We were never the best husband and wife. We were kids and before we got married we were the best of friends. We always worked on music together, we were always focused on art, he always pushed me on not to be focused on a guy."

She said that when the Mimi Faust and Nikko Smith sex tape blew over the media, she's not really as affected. The new addition to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta added, "Maybe this is why I kind of built this wall, I don't know, I just don't want to be tied down by some guy. Even if he's my husband, I just want to have my own freedom."

Her being non-confrontational was the major reason why Margeaux Simms was hesitant to join "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta at first.

"I've seen it a couple of times and that's one of the reasons why I said I was not gonna do this show," Nikko Smith's wife said. "I'm not a fighter unless I have to defend myself and I guess that's like anything in life."

"I just don't care what anyone thinks about me. I'm my own person, I'm my own woman - yea, ok I'm married to Nikko, but I don't have any man putting any battery in my back. I just want people to see me."

Previously, Mimi Faust claimed that she regretted making the sex tape with Nikko Smith, but it was an attempt to lash out at her ex, Stevie J, whom she reportedly is still hung over.

The teaser promo for "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" hints of a hookup between Mimi Faust and Stevie J.

"Puerto Rican princess chatting with [Nikko's] wife Margo about the Mimi sex tape and in another video we see Mimi finding comfort in Stevie," Latin Times noted. "One of the trailers also leads us to believe that Mimi and Stevie J could hook up in season four."
