Tracy Morgan Recovery News: '30 Rock' Actor Now Mans The Wheel But Continues To Use Cane

Tracy Morgan's recovery seems to go nicely a year after the car crash at the New Jersey Turnpike as the "30 Rock" actor is already healthy enough to get behind the wheel.

Although Tracy Morgan is still using a cane, the comedian certainly has no trouble parking the car when his son couldn't quite get the vehicle in proper position.

Photos from Daily Mail showed the "30 Rock" actor getting out of the passenger side and sliding into the driver's seat of his vehicle.

"The 46-year-old appeared stronger and healthier on Wednesday as he at first got out of the vehicle to give directions to his son, believed to be Tracy Jr., on how to get the car into the parking space," the publication said. "Leaning slightly on his cane, he started off trying to guide the young man's steering.

"He then walked around the car and got behind the wheel to finish the job himself."

Tracy Morgan is still on his way to recovery from the broken ribs, broken nose, broken femur and leg as well as traumatic brain injury when a Wal-Mart truck mowed down their vehicle in New Jersey while on tour.

In February, Us Weekly reported about Tracy Morgan's recovery update saying that he is already well enough to walk by himself aided with a cane.

"If Tracy could be out, acting and doing what he loves, he would be - 100 percent. But sadly, he just can't yet," a source told the magazine at that time.

While focusing on his recovery, Tracy Morgan also filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart for "careless and negligent ownership and operation of its motor vehicle." The comedian who was part of his entourage and died during the incident got a $10 million settlement from the retail giant.

Tracy Morgan's lawsuit, however, is still languishing after Kevin Roper, the driver of Wal-Mart, also filed his own petition to finish his case first before the "30 Rock" actor's hearing can commence.
