George R.R. Martin's Blogging Delays Further 'Winds Of Winter' Release Date? Spoilers Available Via 'Game Of Thrones' Season 5

George R. R. Martin should ditch his blog temporarily to rush the "Winds of Winter" release date. Meanwhile, fans can just watch "Game of Thrones" season 5 although the HBO hit series might dish some major spoilers for the major characters' fate.

According to Geek, everytime George R. R. Martin blogs, that takes away from his writing for "Winds of Winter."

"Martin is an avid blogger and a seemingly avid procrastinator that loves hanging out at comic book and sci-fi conventions," it said.

The website added, "He was in the news this March when he announced he wasn't going to San Diego Comic-Con this year so he could continue work on his next book. Sad news for fans attending the Con and devastating news for those waiting for the new book: this July marks four years since A Dance With Dragons, and he's still going to be working?"

Meanwhile, iDigital Times reported that George R. R. Martin should rush the "Winds of Winter" release date since "Game of Thrones" season 5 is entering spoilers territory.

"We have come to the days when Game of Thrones will furnish us with Winds of Winter spoilers, for the show has begun to pass the books," it said.

"The first of those big spoilers is something we have suspected for some time, but now it has become true: Griff and Young Griff, who weren't on the casting lists, are indeed not in Game of Thrones season 5."

Fans know that Young Griff's real identity is Aegon Targayen, who is the heir to the Seven Kingdoms apart from Stannis.

The absence of Young Griff from "Game of Thrones" season 5 could either mean that he is bogus or he will die at "Storm's End," the site said.

In a previous statement, George R. R. Martin said that he wants to finish the "Winds of Winter" release date prior to "Game of Thrones" season 6.
