Ariana Grande and Big Sean have split up but there's no bad blood between the two as the decision was reportedly mutual.

E! News has earlier confirmed the Big Sean and Ariana Grande split as a result of their busy schedules.

A statement by the former couple read, "They both care deeply for each other and remain close friends. We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."

In fact, Ariana Grande went back to work for Ryan Murphy's "Scream Queens" right after the breakup news. The "Problem" hitmaker tweeted, "Fun 1st day on set! thank u queens for making me feel so welcome. y'all are everything @RobertsEmma @msleamichele @billielourd @yoabbaabba."

Later Ariana Grande posted on Twitter, "2nd day working on @screamqueens and wow i love everyone here."

On the Big Sean and Ariana Grande breakup, a source told E! News that "they are still very close friends and will remain in each other's lives."

Another report from Us Weekly claimed that Ariana Grande and Big Sean's split was mutually decided.

"It hasn't been easy though with both of their busy schedules lately and they know it's going to get even harder in the next few months," the source said.

"This was really difficult for them to publicly call it quits but they thought it would be better this way so people know there is no bad blood between them at all."

Ariana Grande and Big Sean reportedly hooked up in August 2014, when he broke his engagement with "Glee" actree Naya Rivera. The former couple claimed that they have been friends for a long time before taking their relationship to another level.
