Prince William Cancels Appearances As Kate Middleton Awaits Baby No. 2; Royal Couple Planning More Children?

Prince William has finally filed for paternity leave as the second heir to the throne and his wife, Kate Middleton, are waiting for baby no. 2 any time now. Meanwhile, the royal couple is reportedly planning to have more kids as confirmed by her uncle in an interview.

Hello! Magazine reported that Prince William has taken a leave of absence from the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service.

The paternity leave is reportedly unpaid, and he will return to work on June 1 by which time, baby no. 2 would have already arrived and Kate Middleton would have already recovered from the delivery.

A statement published on the magazine read, "His final block of in-work training requires an uninterrupted three-week block of working time and the availability of the new EC145 helicopter that will be used for missions."

"As he now will not have any further training to complete after returning from paternity leave, he will not return to duties until that time, and will remain on unpaid leave until then," the statement added.

But Prince William did manage to finish his air ambulance training "earlier than anticipated."

"Prince Harry will be returning to the UK for the London Marathon on April 26, meaning he may even get to see the tot if it's born on or before its due date this weekend," said NY Daily News.

"The wait for Prince George's little brother or sister is hotting up with bookies shortening odds on a Saturday or Sunday arrival to 7/1," the publication added.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton's uncle, Gary Goldsmith, confirmed to The Sun, as shared by NY Daily News, the royal couple is planning to have more children after baby no. 2.

"I don't think they'll stop at two so if it isn't a girl this time around, people shouldn't be too disappointed," he said.
