Blake Lively News: ‘Preserve’ Founder Talks About Haters Of Lifestyle Brand After Being Compared To Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘GOOP’ Website

Blake Lively news reported how the "Preserve" founder talked about the haters of her lifestyle brand. According to a report from LA Times, Blake Lively and "Preserve" has long been compared to Gwyneth Paltrow's website, "GOOP."

Ever since Blake Lively launched "Preserve" last year, the movie and television star has been accused of trying too hard to fit into the competitive lifestyle and wellness industry. Specifically, the former It Girl's credibility as a lifestyle guru has been questioned.

The former teen star has even been compared to the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and veteran Martha Stewart, who both have been accused of speaking ill about Blake Lively and "Preserve."

"You feel like you're in high school and being bullied," Blake Lively said about negative feedback received by "Preserve."

"I'm a lot better at this than I am at acting. I always feel like I'm faking it when I'm acting. I do the best I can do to tell the story in the best way, but I always feel really lucky when I get a job."

"I feel confident when I'm cooking or decorating. It's something I control beginning, middle and end. That ownership feels good," she shared.

In an interview with Huffington Post, lifestyle veteran Martha Stewart previously made controversial comments about Blake Lively and "Preserve."

"I mean, it's stupid, she could be an actress!" she said.

"I don't mean that facetiously, (but) why would you want to be me if you could be an actress?"

"Let her try," the lifestyle celebrity shrugged.

According to a report from Page Six, even Martha Stewart's senior vice president Kevin Sharkey slammed Blake Lively and Preserve.

"I don't get the sense she's credible... She's enthusiastic, but she's not credible," Martha Stewart's rep said.

The former lead actress of "Gossip Girl" just dismissed the non-constructive criticisms thrown her way.

"I want to have my own path professionally and even as (Martha Stewart) said, I'm an actress," Blake Lively told E!Online.

"I'm doing something totally different so now I sort of have two careers going on and it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out."
