Jang Woo Hyuk came out on tvN "Star Lecture Show" that was aired on Wednesday and explained how he got to own a building that is worth 30 billion. Jang Woo Hyuk said "I only spent 30 dollars on my credit card even when I was in H.O.T in the past. Fans provided me with all the clothes and food, and I could just eat the meal provided by the company." 

He continued saying "When my friends changed their cars several times, I kept my car for seven years. I saw different types of people who got successful and not, realizing what that I should save up. I thought I had to save up if I wanted to continue doing music." Jang Woo Hyuk added on saying "I started my business by having a study room in front of the Seoul University. After that, I got a small building in Gangnam. I got interested in architecture and I ended up building one my self." 

He said that usually idol singers don't really know how to manage their income or they just leave it to their parents. He advised that celebrities need to be closer with the banks.
