New Boy Group ROMEO Debuts With Help From Music Industry Giants

ROMEO officially debuted with their title track "Lovesick" on May 7th and released their album The Romeo on the same day. The group became a sensation and on May 10th, the group's name became one of the most searched words in Korea after their performance on SBS Inkigayo.

As the fans' interest in ROMEO grew, it was revealed that some of the most well known production crews of the music industry were behind ROMEO's successful debut.

ROMEO's agency CT Entertainment is a spin-off company established by SM Entertainment veterans. The title track "Lovesick" was produced by Sweetune, a popular team that composed many hit songs for groups such as KARA, INFINITE, Rainbow, 9muses, and Boyfriend.

The "Lovesick" music video was directed by Cho Soo Hyun, who is known for his works in Psy's "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman," as well as Shinhwa's "This Love," and SHINee's "Why So Serious." Photographer Park Jeongmin was behind ROMEO's new album jacket, and he is known for his works with top stars such as Lee Hyori, Son Dam Bi, Suzy, and Hyun Bin. For ROMEO's album jacket, he focused on showing the genuine and passionate side of ROMEO.

Additionally, the famous choreographer Park Younggyu known for his works with Shinhwa directed ROMEO, and many other popular crews helped ROMEO achieve their success.

ROMEO will continue staying active with their debut track, "Lovesick."
