A teacher in Texas at Schrade Middle School was suspended as the teacher allegedly lassoes a student during a history lesson.

Apparently a seventh grader volunteered to be lassoed by the teacher however the student sustained bruises during the incident.

The teacher attempting to teach his students lasso techniques by a demonstration turned a bit too realistic. The police in Rowlett, Texas are considering possible criminal charges.

Garland Independent School District spokesman Chris Moore explained, "[The teacher] was visiting with the students, telling the students about how Cowboys would corral maverick steers back into the herd. This is not something that we feel was malicious, it was not intent. Extremely unfortunate, and extremely poor judgment."

As the identity of the teacher is kept under wraps and the teacher didn't intend to bring any harm, the teacher might end up with a suspension.
