Nokia Lumia 920 Phone Voted Smartphone Of The Year For One of A Kind Tech Specs [REPORT]

Voted smartphone of the year by Engadget readers, the Nokia Lumia 920 is sweeping the world off its feet.

Climbing the charts of the top ranked phones in the world, the Nokia Lumia 920 is having great success. Its success is reaching across the world.

Information gathered by seekingplanalpha.com shows that in India, Nielsen consumer rankings rates Nokia as the most preferred mobile handset brand in India. Brazil welcomes Lumia 920, 820, and 620 launch with long in-store queues, where Lumia 920 phones are sold out in-store and onlin. China has the Lumia 920T in stock at China Mobile's GuangDong stores, where the phone climbs back to the top of best sellers list.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is glove friendly. It can be a hassle using your phone with gloves on. In the cold winter, you'll be outside and forced to take your gloves off in order to send a text, make a call or browse the web. Now the winter won't be the death of your fingers.

The phone is bigger and heavier than your average phone.

It's equipped with 32 GB of memory and is priced at $99. For an advanced phone, it is affordable at that price.

There's always comparisonsbetween the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC Windows Phone 8X. Both look similar and are rivals of the Windows Phone 8 battle.

For now, Nokia has grabbed a lot of momentum with the Lumia 920.

According to seekingplanalpha.com, Nokia is upgrading AT&T Lumia 920 with LTE Band 2 and Band 5. Yellow Lumia 920 phones are sold out at Nokia Shop in India. Red Lumia 920 phones are sold out at AT&T. Nokia's Lumia 920 has stolen the Mall of America from BlackBerry.

CNET gave its review on the phone.

"The good: The Nokia Lumia 920 forges new Windows Phone ground with wireless charging support and a highly sensitive screen you can use with gloves. Moreover, Nokia helps fill in Windows Phone OS gaps with a few missing features."

The wireless charging can be a selling point, which would take away people who charge their phones every day. It's one less item to carry with you wherever you go.

"The bad: A thick, heavy build and slippery finish for some colors make the Lumia 920 harder to hold and carry, and the phone's overhyped camera doesn't have enough settings."

The heavier items are, the more of stress in puts on somebody. Granted, it's not lifting heavy dumbbells at the gym, but you want to be comfortable all the time. You don't want to feel the phone pressuring against you, but you do want to know it's there.

The bottom line: Nokia's Lumia 920 is heavy and thick, but if you want the most powerful, feature-rich Windows phone available, this is it.
