New York City Police Officer Accused Of Plotting To Kill And Eat 100 Women; Introduced To An Alleged Third Target On Trial

Jurors at the trial of a New York police officer accused of plotting to kill and eat women have been introduced to another alleged target.

On Tuesday, Elizabeth Sauer became the third woman to testify at the trial of Officer Gilberto Valle. She's Valle's former college classmate.

It was Valle's wife that tipped authorities about her husband's plans.

Valle worked six years with the New York police. The 28-year-old is stationed in Harlem.

In October of last year, Gilberto Valle was arrested in a failed plot allegedly had him kidnapping, raping, killing, cooking and eating 100 women.  One of these women was reportedly Sauer.

Prosecutors say Valle was using these database files, including surveillances to scout the women and make his picks.

Emails, computer files, and fetish chats were retrieved from the NYPD officer's computer. None of the women was harmed, although a prosecutor said some of the women knew Valle and he had stalked at least two of them at home or work - once in his police car in a 'very intimidating fashion.'

Investigators alleged that Valle written out about the mechanics of fitting the woman's body into an oven, noting that the women's legs would have to be bent, and discussed how 'tasty' one woman looked.

'Her days are numbered,' he wrote, according to the complaint. That woman knew him personally. They met for lunch in July.

In another eerie message, Valle, who is believed to have married in June, wrote that his knowing the victims would lead to a 'flawless' abduction as his arrival 'will not alert her', the complaint noted.

There is an alleged co-conspirator with Valle. This was a conversation that was allegedly between the two.

"I love that she is asleep right now not have the slightest clue of what we have planned," Valle allegedly wrote, ABC reported. "Her days are numbered... She does look tasty, doesn't she?"

His alleged co-conspirator responded, "You do know if we don't waste any of her, there is nearly 75 lbs of food there."

Prosecutors believe the two were also discussing the possibility of selling one of the women for $5,000 between each other.

The Associated Press reported that public defender Julia Gatto had asked for bail, saying Valle was only guilty of a "deviant fantasy." She then said, "there's no actual crossing the line from fantasy to reality. At worst this is someone who has sexual fantasies about people he knows and he talks about it on the Internet."

Valle was arraigned Thursday afternoon and was held without bail on charges including kidnapping conspiracy and unauthorized use of law enforcement records. If convicted, he could face life in prison.
