Titanic II To Look Like The Original; Blueprints For The New Titanic Ship

The blueprint has been presented for a ship being built to look exactly like the Titanic. It's name - Titanic II.

In 1912, the original Titanic sank after hitting an iceberg on its route to New York. This failed voyage lost the lives of 1,502 people.

Someone has plans on recreating the Titanic in real life. He will call it Titanic II.

It was a year ago that Clive Palmer announced his plans to build Titanic II, which he said is going to be an exact replica of the original. The Australian mining tycoon presented the blueprints on a mothballed aircraft carrier in New York harbor yesterday.

Titanic II will travel the same route as the original did 101 years ago. It will set sail from South Hampton, UK to New York.

This ship has created many movies on the big screen and on the television screen. Over 100 years later, the buzz continues around this famous ship.

One of those movies set box office records at the time of its release. That same movie was rereleased in 3D last April.

With the combination of the film and its 3D version, the movie drew $2.18 billion. The only other movie to generate that much money was "Avatar".

Trying to relive a lot of what happened on the Titanic before it sank, Palmer even wants to split everyone up by class.

Passengers will have the option of choosing first, second or third-class tickets.

The option of fitting the part will be available too as you can dress properly for the occasion. Palmer's cruise company, Blue Star Line will provide passengers with clothing that would match the class they belong too.

In the 1997 blockbuster, Leonardo DiCaprio represented the lower- class as Kate Winslet was a member of the upper-class on the Titanic. On this voyage, you will be separated from each class, the same as intended in 1912.

There will be a capacity of 2,435 passengers and 900 crew members. The original had about 2,229 on board, of whom 713 survived

The ship itself is being built in China by CSC Jinling Shipyard, and Palmer said it should be ready to set sail in the latter part of 2016.

The original Titanic crashed and sank. Nobody wants to relive that horror again, but relive the magic of this famed ship.

Deltamarin is the Finnish company that's designing the ship and Markku Kanerva, the sales director, was quoted as saying it will be "absolutely the most safe cruise ship in the world when it is launched."
