Carmen Electra's Baywatch days may be long over, but she recently slipped back into the iconic red swimsuit that made her a star for the new issue of In Touch Weekly.

The 40-year-old actress posed in the scandalous swimwear despite her initial hesitation. She told the magazine "Once I got it on, I felt amazing. It was a million times better than I thought it would be." She then added, "I feel better than I did at 25!"

In the magazine's side-by-side comparison, Carmen Electra looks just as good, if not better, than she did during her time on Baywatch.

The star credits her diet of lean proteins and veggies as well as her love of dance for her sexy figure.

"I still have the discipline I learned when I studied ballet growing up," she said in the interview.

She went on to suggest she would also be thrilled to have an opportunity to pose again for Playboy, the magazine that brought her early fame and success.

The In Touch photo shoot was a nice distraction from her recently announced breakup with X-Factor judge, Simon Cowell. The couple had only confessed their romantic involvement with each other in December, but had not been seen much in public since then.

Electra appeared on Baywatch from 1997 to 1998 and again for the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.
