Michael Jordan Laekfront Home on North Carolina Golf Course for $2.8M, 'Stunning Panoramic Lake Views From Almost Every Room' [PHOTOS]

Michael Jordan the six-time NBA world champion brought a lakefront home in North Carolina for $2.8 million; this is his second Charlotte area property in three years. The Bobcats owner is now only 22 miles away of Charlotte where the Bobcats play their home games.

The 12,310-square-foot home in Cornelius features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms and the property listing also noted it has a "stunning panoramic lake views from almost every room."

Jordan's love of golf is not hidden as his new mansion located on Lake Norman, is actually on the seventh hole of The Peninsula Golf Club.

The property was in foreclosure and First Community Bank sold the property to The Jordan Family Gift Trust on February 19, according to property records.

Cornelius home built in 1993 and originally listed for $3.5 million, the three story house also includes entertainment and exercise space, a boat slip, a fenced yard, and a pool.

"It's fantastic. He got a great buy on that house," said Cornelius Commissioner Dave Gilroy.

"We couldn't be more thrilled to have a legend like that as a Cornelius resident," Gilroy said.
