Paul McCartney Late To Daughter Stella McCartney’s Fashion Show In Paris, “Walked Like A Model” To Seat

Paul McCartney was late for his daughter Stella McCartney's fashion show, scheduled to start thirty minutes earlier than it did on Monday, March 4.

ABC reported that Paul McCartney arrived half an hour late to Stella McCartney's Paris fall-winter presentation.

Stella McCartney is Paul's daughter by famed photographer Linda Eastman. The couple had 2 other children together, named Mary and James.

McCartney and Eastman remained together until Linda's death from breast cancer in 1998, after which he married Heather Mills and later, Nancy Shevell.

The breaking news headline read, "Stella McCartney restyles pinstripes, Paul is late," referencing designer Stella McCartney showing off her new textural and classical collection of clothes at the Paris fashion show.

The British wardrobe staple, the suit, sported wide lapels and plenty of pinstripes at Stella McCartney's fashion show.

She said backstage, "I wanted a refresh in a classical way. Women have a masculine side and if you tap into that, you find another part of yourself."

However, the menswear references weren't the main attraction in Stella McCartney's lineup; most of the pieces retained the relaxed, soft silhouettes that McCartney is known for.

The highly anticipated fashion show began 30 minutes late, because Stella McCartney's legendary father, Paul McCartney, was unapologetically late.

The former Beatles singer made his way to his seat, receiving smiles and welcomes from the crowd despite his lateness.

According to ABC, McCartney was overheard saying, "Walk, walk, walk like a model," as he made his way to his seat, swaggering theatrically down the aisles.

Bono, the singer of U2, was in the front row and reacted to McCartney's antics with a smile.
