Brody Jenner Joins Kardashians On Season 8 Of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Just As Pregnant Kim Prepares To Leave

Brody Jenner joins the Kardashians on their hit reality show in breaking news on Tuesday, March 5.

The 29-year-old Brody Jenner, son of Bruce Jenner, will join the reality show that catapulted the Kardashian family to fame, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, according to the AP.

Brody Jenner will appear on the eighth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians with his stepsiblings. Jenner said in an appearance that he's excited to join the crew and "[get] to know [his] extended family a little better."

Brody's representative told Us Weekly that Jenner "is joining the show but may not be in every episode. It depends on the storyline."

This isn't Brody Jenner's first stint on a reality television program. He became famous through reality TV, especially through MTV's The Hills and Bromance.

Brody Jenner's place as a regular on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians show won't be his first appearance with his family on TV. He has made cameos on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and its spinoff, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, in the past.

Besides appearing on reality television shows, Jenner has incorporated reality TV stars into his personal life. He has dated Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, both of Laguna Beach and The Hills. He has also been linked to Jayde Nicole and Lindsay Lohan, according to Inquisitr.

Brody Jenner had his longest public relationship with singer Avril Lavigne, with whom be broke up in 2012 after two years.

Since his split with the pop-punk singer, Jenner has been reflecting on his life, said a source last year. "He's trying to figure out what to do with his life," stated the source.

Jenner has already been spotted shooting some scenes for his newest reality TV venture with Kim Kardashian, beau of Kanye West, in Beverly Hills in February.

But that may be the last scene that they shoot together for the reality show. Kim Kardashian recently told Du Jour magazine that her ninth season of the show will mark her last. So just as her stepbrother joins the cast, Kim Kardashian makes plans for her exit.

Kim continued to say that it's time for a change. Perhaps she wants to spend the first few years of motherhood outside of the reality TV spotlight.

She said, "It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I'm realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations an plans, once you're actually living it, it could be completely different."

Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 8 is scheduled to air on E! in July.
