Joe Flacco At McDonald's: Forget Disney World, Give Me McNuggets!

Joe Flacco celebrated at McDonald's with a 10-piece Chicken McNugget meal after signing a contract that officially makes him the highest paid player in football history.

The 28-year-old quarterback signed his record-breaking $120 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens and then grabbed a quick bite at a McDonald's restaurant in Aberdeen, Maryland. He reportedly went through the drive thru and ordered himself a 10-piece McNugget meal with fries and an unsweetened iced tea for $6.99.

The McDonald's store in question was on Flacco's way back to his New Jersey home from the meeting where he signed the six-year contract.

A McDonald's employee and die-hard Ravens fan, Sherry Norman, told ESPN she recognized Flacco at the drive thru and managed to snap a quick picture of him picking up his order.

"I kept saying to the people I work with, 'Doesn't that look like Joe Flacco?' " Norman said. "And then he turned towards the window and it was him."

Norman says that she confirmed with Flacco that he is who she thought he was and asked for a picture. The Ravens star graciously obliged.

Flacco signed the $120 million deal after leading the Ravens to the Super Bowl in New Orleans last month. Baltimore defeated the San Francisco 49ers 34-31.

Flacco's contract included a $29-million signing bonus and a guarantee of $52 million over the life of the contract.

Flacco at McDonald's is not as strange as it initially sounds. Especially after the Super Bowl MVP signed an endorsement deal entitling him to a lifetime supply of gummy bears.

And this is, of course, not the first time a sports professional has celebrated a multi-million dollar contract with fast food from McDonald's. Former New York Knicks head coach Jeff Van Gundy did the same after he signed a two-year extension in 1996.

Venerated professional golfer Phil Mickelson was also reported to have ordered Krispy Kreme donuts in Georgia after winning the Masters Tournament.
