Julio Acevedo, Wanted Suspect In Crash That Killed Hasidic Couple And Unborn Child Says He's Turning Himself In [PHOTO]

Julio Acevedo, the suspect in a crash that killed a Hasidic couple and their unborn baby told the Daily News Tuesday that he is ready to turn himself over to police.

"I'm going to turn myself in," Acevedo told the newspaper in a phone call allegedly arranged by a friend. "I have to get an attorney ready before I turn myself in."

Raizel Glauber, was in the backseat of a taxi on her way to give birth with her husband Nachman Glauber at her side, Sunday at 12:30 a.m., when Julio Acevedo's BMW allegedly slammed into the taxi they were riding in.

Acevedo was allegedly driving.

Both parents, who were 21 years old, were killed in the accident. Their unborn child was also killed.

"My heart goes out to them," Acevedo said. "I didn't know they died until I saw the news."

Julio Acevedo, who is a father of two, has reportedly spoken to a lawyer, but still remains at large. A source says he his having trouble raising money for legal fees.

According the widow of Curtis Jackson, the original rapper to use the name 50 Cent (the inspiration for the famous one), Acevedo, should never have even been on the streets.

The Hasidic family's killer served time for the murdering Jackson in 1987, but his widow Precious feels he was out too soon.

"He didn't do enough time," said Precious, who had a daughter with Martin. "If he did the time he should have done, he would still be in jail. He wouldn't have the opportunity to kill these people [in the car crash]."
