Emilia Clarke Gets Naked, Theater Forced To Increase Security

Emilia Clarke nude scene causes a stir, forces theater personnel to beef up security for the Broadway production of "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

New York's Cort Theatre reportedly had to increase security at the new production of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" after fans took photographs of the show's star, Emilia Clarke, naked during the debut.

Emilia Clarke is playing the role of Holly Golightly in the Broadway show which previewed on Monday.

Officials at the Cort Theatre explicitly told patrons that the venue has a strict "no photos" rule, but it was not enough to stop the audience members from snapping shots with their cell phones.

As a result, the managers of the venue have decided drastically increase security for the show, which will officially open later this month, the New York Post reported Thursday.

The British actress has risen to fame partly due to her role in the wildly successful HBO series "Game of Thrones" and both she and the show have gained worldwide popularity since it began in April 2011.

A source tells the publication, "On Monday, it was a packed house including a huge contingent of fans of "Game of Thrones." What titillated the audience ... was a full nude scene between Emilia and (male lead) Cory Michael Smith."

He continued, "She undresses him and he gets in the tub. She then goes offstage and comes back in a towel. She takes it off and gets in with him. So you don't see everything. There are bubbles strategically placed. If you're sitting in the balcony you can see a lot more."

Reviews of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" have shown Emilia Clarke in a favorable light.

In addition to Emilia Clarke and "Game of Thrones" fans expected to see the production during its Broadway run, there are likely to be a great number of "Breakfast at Tiffany's fans in attendance.

The late actress, Audrey Hepburn, popularly brought the character Holly Golightly to life in the classic 1961 film version.

The new production of "Breakfast at Tiffany's" with Emilia Clarke officially opens on Broadway March 20.
