Is Ian Somerhalder worried that his ex girlfriend, and former "The Vampire Diaries" co-star, Nina Dobrev is partying her career away?

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Nina Dobrev hasn't had work since exiting "The Vampire Diaries."

And even though part of it was that she couldn't launch her movie career as quickly as she hoped, another part was that she's allegedly on a downward spiral.

A source told the tabloid, "She hasn't even tried to look for work in weeks. It seems like all she wants to do is party these days, it's obvious that she is using it as a coping mechanism for something."

When she left "The Vampire Diaries," Nina Dobrev had a pact with her friends to tour the US and party, starting with the Coachella Music Festival.

"But the drinking and celebrating didn't stop there," CDL noted. "Dobrev's drinking has continued and friends described it as 'nonstop' and they are getting worried. Nina just spent a night out on the French Riviera, partying with fellow celebs like Irina Shayk, Michelle Rodriguez, and Orlando Bloom."

"The former TVD star spent the night drinking and hanging out with some famous pals at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation party. It was just one of the multiple nights of booze and fun during Nina's Saint Tropez trip."

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev's relationship, however, is reportedly on the verge of being beyond repair. Although the former lovers insisted that they are still friends, "The Vampire Diaries" actor has unfollowed the "Let's Be Cops" actress on social media.

Fans were quick to point an accusing finger at Nikki Reed for supposedly prohibiting her husband from communicating with his ex.

"Will Ian Somerhalder reach out to Nina Dobrev? Would Nikki Reed allow her husband to help an ex-girlfriend?" CDL pointed out.

But if indeed the rumors are true that Nina Dobrev is struggling, she has boyfriend Austin Stowell to pick her up and more than likely won't run to Ian Somerhalder for support.
