Miley Cyrus is reportedly aiming for shock value when she asked girlfriend Stella Maxwell to be her date for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards which the "Wrecking Ball" star is hosting.

According to Hollywood Life, Miley Cyrus and Stella Maxwell are going to come out with their relationship in a big way during the event.

The article claimed that that public should "expect a lot of PDA" from the couple during the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

The source told the website, "Miley's saying she's going to bring Stella as her date to the VMAs. You can expect a lot of PDA from them. It's going to be hot."

The source continued, "Miley knows people want controversy, so she'll give them some."

To recall, Miley Cyrus shocked the world once during her highly sexualized performance with Robin Thicke during the MTV 2013 VMAs.

According to Life & Style magazine, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Miley Cyrus allegedly wants to marry Stella Maxwell in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage nationwide.

A source told the magazine, "Miley's told friends that Stella is the one. And she wants to make a huge statement with an over-the-top wedding in the fall!"
