D-Unit made a big hit.

According to YNB Entertainment, D-Unit's second album chapter 1 was sold out as soon as the first 5,000 albums were released. The agency said, "This is a rare sight to see in a new girl group who debuted only 7 months ago."

It was also revealed that more than half of it was sold in Japan. This seemed to have opened the way for D-Unit to make their way into Japan as well.

The agency put in an order for additional 2,000 CDs to sell.

D-Unit debuted in August of 2012 with their song, "I'm Missin' You." They first held promotions in Japan through a fan meeting even before their debut. New member JNey joined their group on March 2.
