Harry Styles has a new girlfriend and you'd expect her to be over the moon about it, but instead she is fearing for her life.

Being the girlfriend of One Direction leader Harry Styles apparently has a big downside as his new girlfriend, Shaniece Nesbitt is finding out.

Nesbitt has been at the center of countless death threats from outraged fans.

The constant attacks have forced Harry Styles' girlfriend to delete her Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Harry Styles and Nesbitt have been romantically linked for just about a week, ever since he spotted her in the crowd at the One Direction concert in Belfast last week.

News spead quickly that Styles could not take his eyes off of the Megan Fox look-alike for the duration of the show. He then reportedly had his entourage find her after the concert and get her phone number.

Later on it was revealed that Nesbitt stayed the night with him at the five-star Culloden Hotel in Belfast.

One source told The Sun, "There were about six people partying with Harry and Shaniece back at the hotel but he only had eyes for her."

But when One Direction super-fans heard about the new girlfriend, they were not very pleased. Jealousy took hold and they tracked Nesbitt down on Twitter and Facebook, sending her threatening messages.

One of the girl's friends told the paper, "Shaniece has been getting messages saying she deserves to die."

Neither Styles or Nesbitt have not officially revealed their involvement with one another, but another source has said the two are in touch and have been texting since they met.

Although some One Direction fans have responded to the news with hatred and threats, many others have expressed their happiness for the couple and have extended their congratulations to Styles and his new girlfriend.
