Robin Thicke and girlfriend April Love Geary bonded with his son again as they went on a holiday at the beach on Tuesday.

The "Blurred Lines" singer was seen stripping down to his board shorts as he amusingly watched his son splash around near the shore.

"The star kept a close eye on his son as they splashed around, with the adventurous little boy getting a face full of water at one point," Daily Mail reported.

"The plucky youngster recovered quickly with the help of his doting dad though, who quickly picked him up as a lifeguard came over to check the two were OK," it added.

April Love Geary was also on the beach, dressed in a white dress while watching Robin Thicke bond with his son.

"The strappy number showed off the 20-year-old's slender tanned legs, while she added a wide-brimmed black hat as the trio strolled around and chatted with friends," the British tabloid said.

Robin Thicke and April Love Geary were rumored to be hanging out following his divorce from Paula Patton, the mother of his son Julian. The "Blurred Lines" singer said that the divorce threw him out for a loop and he was on a downward spiral if not for meeting his 20-year-old girlfriend.

Although the couple are separated by an 18-year age difference, Alan Thicke, the father of the "Blurred Lines" singer, approves of the relationship.

In interview with E! News, Alan Thicke said of Robin Thicke's girlfriend, "She's lovely."

"It's a great time for him. [He has an] album coming out and April is there and supportive," he said.

As to the 18-year age gap, Robin Thicke's mother Tanya said, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Alan Thicke and Tanya have an even bigger age difference as they are separated by 28 years and they have been married for about a decade now.
