The divorce rumors surrounding Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have been going around for quite some time now, and the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actress fueled the gossip mill further by going out without her wedding ring.

A source told Radar Online, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, said, "Halle is telling pals she worries that Olivier's runaway temper could put her kids at risk. They've just been delaying the inevitable split."

The tabloid continued that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are just delaying their divorce but they have not been living together for months. The "Unfaithful" actor has been reportedly shacked up in his Malibu flat while the "Swordfish" actress is residing in her Hollywood Hills mansion with her two children.

According to CDL, Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have sparked divorce rumors when they haven't been seen or photographed together since February 2015. But even before that, they have rarely made public appearances together since their son Maceo's birth in 2013.

Olivier Martinez's "temper" was tested when he fought Gabriely Audry, Halle Berry's baby daddy, outside her house in 2012.

"Since Olivier and Gabriel's smackdown, Halle has been concerned about her husband's temper and violent streak," CDL said. "He cemented her concerns last year when he attacked an airport employee at LAX and was caught on camera hitting him over the head with Maceo's car seat."

Back in March 2014, the NY Daily News has reported that Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez were on their way to divorce since they have been living separately.

"Our Hollywood insiders speculate that the reason for the tension is that the pair have drifted apart because of hectic work schedules," the article said.

"Berry is now shooting her new CBS series, 'Extant,' in Los Angeles, while Martinez has been busy working on 'Revenge' in a guest-star role that starts Sunday on the hit ABC show."
