The ‘Duggars Do Asia’ Premiered On TLC; Duggar Family Splurges On $617 Burger Bill After ‘Today’ Show Appearance Announcing New Grandchild

The Duggar family went out to dinner and spent over $600 on an expensive burger bill from 'Bill's Bar & Burger' after talking about their TV special, filmed in Asia, on NBC's Today show.

The TLC reality family, The Duggars, had appeared on the Today show to announce the birth of their newest grandchild, of 25-year-old Josh and 24-year-old Anna.

The baby is due in June 2013.

After the television appearance, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar took all of their children to lunch: Joshua, twins Jana and John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joh-Anna, Jedediah and Jeremiah (twins), Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace and Josie.

Their total dinner party of 23 swamped Bill's Bar & Burger in Rockefeller Center, where the bill cost $617.

The huge Duggar clan probably reminisced about the 'weird foods' they experienced in Asia on their new Television special "The Duggars Do Asia."

In one clip from the show, the family is prompted to eat live scorpions on a stick. Predictably, the family shies away from the insects.

According to the Duggar's website, the first part of the three-part "Duggars Do Asia" special of "19 Kids and Counting" premiered on Tuesday, March 12 at 9pm EST on TLC.

The new episodes are expected to chronicle the Duggar family's 2012 adventures in Japan and China.
