Drew Barrymore reportedly can't accommodate her Hollywood career and do movies for now as she is more focused on her family and her business.

In a report on E! Online, the mom of two admitted that she has been turning down many acting projects as she wants to be a mom for now and her Flower company allows more flexibility.

"Flower has changed my life because it lets me be a mom the way I want to be and I still get to do something meaningful and think about girls and women and empowering messages," Barrymore told E! during a press event for the line.

"I love movies but the hours right now for where my kids are in their life, it's few and far between that I'll work," she added.

Family and being a mom, in particular, has been a priority for Drew Barrymore recently more than her acting career as she admitted in an interview.

"I know it seems from the outside, there is so many things going on but I really compartmentalize and I do what I can over here and I do what I can over there because I won't be a good mother if I was just out all day working," she explained in July.

This is not the first time that Barrymore has been vocal about lessening her TV and movie projects. Back in 2014, she also spoke with Savannah Guthrie in Today and said she planned to "act less and less."

"I think I will act less and less," she shared. "I find the hours at this point in my life too difficult with kids. It's hard to be present when you wake up before them and come home after they've gone to bed."

"That's just not the way I want to have this journey with my kids at this point in their life," she added. "But maybe when they're older, I will feel differently." 

In 2014, Barrymore only appeared on one film. She came out on the reunion film with Adam Sandler in "Blended." Her movie for this year "Miss You Already" with Toni Collette comes out next month.
