TVXQ Yunho Endures and Prospers with New Role, 'From Singer to Actor'

TVXQ Yunho, who took off his label as a member of TVXQ and put on the new name as an actor through SBS drama "Queen of Ambition," ended his first acting experience yesterday. Even though it was a sad ending where he died after being betrayed by a woman he loved, his acting seemed to have matured one step further.

Yunho first appeared in episode 2 of the drama as a well-off family's only son Baek Do Hoon. He goes against his father Baek Chang Hak as he falls in love with ice hockey and falls in love at first sight with Da Hae (Soo Ae), revealing the rebellious image of a son.

Yunho's acting shined the most when he was showing affection toward Da Hae. He promised her a great future without even realizing she had evil desires beneath it, revealing a blinded love.

Baek Do Hoon was the character that put in the heat into this drama. As Do Hoon came to find out about the past of Da Hae that he did not want to believe, he was put under pain as he couldn't go this way or that way. His tears of love and pain made this drama to be what it is.

In displaying this innocent heart that was betrayed and the broken heart from a person he trusted, Yunho was the best actor anyone could have asked for.

Yunho first started acting in 2005 with his appearance in the mini drama, "Banjun Theater." He later made a few appearances in the show "Nonstop" as well.

In 2009, he had his first lead role in the drama, "Heading to the Ground." Afterwards, he continued to appear from time to time as a guest actor or a cameo role.

It was last year when he was again casted for another big role in a drama which was "Queen of Ambition."

His most recent appearance was a cameo role with fellow member Changmin for the Japanese drama, "Saki."
