Will Smith’s Marriage With Jada Pinkett Smith Still Going Strong After 17 Years; Jada Reveals Highs And Lows Of Marriage

The Will Smith-Jada Smith marriage is still going strong.

This came straight from the "Men In Black" actor who took to Facebook last Tuesday to refute a Radar Online report that he and his wife of 17 years, Jada Pinkett Smith, were filing for divorce, reported the New York Daily News.

"For Will and Jada, holding it together these past few years has been tough because their marriage has been on life support for a long time," the publication said, quoting a source who disclosed the couple's divorce to Radar Online.

"They're exhausted from trying to maintain the façade of a happy union."

But Will Smith was adamant in his denial of the divorce rumors.

"Under normal circumstances, I don't usually respond to foolishness. (Because it's contagious. But, so many people have extended me their "deepest condolences" that I figured - 'What the hell... I can be foolish, too!,'" he wrote on Facebook.

"So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over & over-again-ness... Jada and I are...NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -)"

The Oscar nominee, however, vowed that they would be honest with their fans in case they decide to go their separate ways.

"I promise you all - if I ever decide to divorce my Queen - I SWEAR I'll tell you myself! #Dumb People Should Have to Wear Scarlet D's," he said.

For the past four years, rumors have been swirling that the 46-year-old "Suicide Squad" star and his 43-year-old wife were headed for splitsville.

The power couple have an estimated net worth of $240 million. The have two children - son Jaden, 17, and daughter Willow, 14.

Meanwhile, in an interview with "American Way" magazine, Jada Pinket Smith talked about the highs and lows of her marriage with husband Will Smith.

"Marriages go through shifts...and relationships go through shifts because in life things shift," she said.

So people are automatically like, 'What's going on? They must be getting a divorce.' Well, no. But when people feel those shifts and there's a mystery, they have to fill it with something," she added.

Asked by the magazine on how she confronts the challenges of married life and stardom, the "Gotham" star said that she returns to the memories of her youth for strength and inspiration.

"I'm thankful for the Hollywood scrutiny, that that's my problem. There are mothers out there losing their sons, their husbands, their daughters," she said.

"I'm blessed. So scrutinize me. I'll take that any day over what the majority of my people are dealing with on a daily basis. I dare not complain. Hollywood scrutiny has nothing on what I've survived just to be here."

From the looks of it, Will Smith's marriage with Jada Smith may yet reach another milestone - with or without the bad press.
