Despite being photographed together multiple times in the past several weeks, the divorce rumors surrounding Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi just refused to die.

According to the latest issue of Star Magazine, as shared by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are trying to stave off the divorce by going to couples therapy.

"It was a very unhealthy situation, but they have begun the healing process," the source alleged. "They are finally dealing with their issues. Portia often complains that she feels bullied. With Ellen's show on hiatus for the summer, she is home bossing Portia around all day and expecting her to be at her beck and call."

However, the tabloid claimed that whether or not Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi can avoid a divorce is still very much in the air, particularly since the couple is fighting "a lot during the sessions."

In March, the talk show host already denied the divorce rumors when she guested on the "Today" show.

The comedian said, "I'm just more flabbergasted by the fact that someone needs to make up a story."

"There's never been a point where we were breaking up or divorcing or fighting," she continued. "None of these stories are even remotely true."

Ellen DeGeneres said that she's not really up to date with all the divorce rumors between her and Portia de Rossi, but the news eventually find its way to her.

She explained, "I don't know the magazines and I don't have a publicist, so I don't know. I have a very small team around me..."

"I don't want to know that stuff, so when someone does bring it up to me, I'm like, 'Really?' I don't know how many times they've said that we've broken up, but I know that they have."

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi got married in August 2008.
