Gwyneth Paltrow and her ex-husband Chris Martin were recently spotted having lunch last week. The Coldplay front man's girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence was noticeably absent during the outing.

The former married couple had a lunch at Joni's in Montauk, known to be a place for its organic fare, Page Six.

Reports reveal that despite their divorce, the couple still kept in touch with each other as they co-parent their two children.

According to the Telegraph UK, the Oscar-nominated actress also revealed recently that they oftentimes have brunch on Sundays.

Recently, Gwyneth Paltrow cleared that she was not the one who coined the term "conscious uncoupling" following her divorce with Chris Martin, who is now dating Jennifer Lawrence.

The "Ironman" star pointed out that it was the editor of lifestyle website Goop, Elise Loehnen, who wrote the infamous phrase without informing her in advance that it will appear on its headline, an Independent report said.

She told in an interview with Fast Company magazine, "When I announced that I was separating on the website [Miss Loehnen] titled the piece 'Conscious Uncoupling,' and I had no idea."

But it was also pointed out that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have posted a joint statement on their divorce that included the phrase.

"We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner," they said in their statement.

Last year, the phrase "conscious uncoupling" has gained mockery in Britain.

Gwyneth Paltrow is now dating Brad Falchuk while Chris Martin has been in a relationship with the "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence.
