Ronda Rousey Wants To Continue Movie Career? UFC Fighter Eyeing To Star In ‘Captain Marvel’!

It looks like UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey wants to continue her movie career as she expressed desire to star in "Captain Marvel," which is set to be shown in 2018.

In an interview for the Reddit AMA session, the UFC star was asked which hero she would love to play. "The Expendables 3" star answered, "A lot of the good ones have been taken but I'd like to vie for Miss Marvel!"

"Captain Marvel" has been announced by Marvel Studios to be shown in 2018 but there are still no confirmed casts.

Though there has not been any confirmation as to who will play the lead role for "Captain Marvel," a report by Bloody Elbow said that she can fit well the characters with her nice built and looks.

Another contender rumored to be vying for the role is "Looper" star Emily Blunt.

Just recently, it was reported that the life of Ronda Rousey will be shown in a movie following her 34 second knockout fight with opponent Bethe Correia in a bout held in Brazil, Variety said in a report.

Paramount Pictures has announced that they got the rights to have a movie adaption of Ronda Rousey's autobiography entitled "My Fight/ Your Fight."

The book, which was published by Regan Arts in spring, has been named as a bestseller.

The biopic will be produced by Mary Parent and Ronda Rousey herself while Marck Bomback will be its executive producer.

"It's a real honor to be a part of bringing Ronda's incredible story to the big screen," producer Mary Parent said of working for Ronda Rousey's movie.

Aside from "The Expendables 3," the American-Venezuelan fighter has also appeared in the latest installment of "Fast & the Furious" where she had an action-packed fight scene with Michelle Rodriquez.

The 28-year-old fighter, Ronda Rousey, has also played a role in the movie "Entourage."
