Suri Cruise has reportedly taken the first steps to filling in the big shoes being the daughter of her famous parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

According to a piece from Dish Nation, Katie Holmes reportedly enrolled Suri Cruise in acting classes, in addition to her ballet lessons.

The insider claimed, "Katie loves the idea of Suri taking acting. Growing up in the spotlight has made Suri a little closed off and shy, and Katie thinks that learning acting will help her become more confident and bring her out of her shell."

Accordingly, Katie Holmes "loves the idea" of her daughter with Tom Cruise following in their footsteps and the "Miss Meadows" actress allegedly wants to lobby for some "small roles" for Suri Cruise "in the near future."

And the source even went on to add that Tom Cruise "is on board" with the plan of having Suri Cruise take on acting lessons to eventually build a career in Hollywood.

It was reported that Tom Cruise has never seen Suri Cruise for two years after Katie Holmes blindsided the "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" star by filing for a divorce. Rumors have been circulating that they split because Scientology leaders didn't approve of the actress who wasn't too keen about following its beliefs.

However, Katie Holmes still got her priorities straight when it comes to daughter Suri Cruise, Dish Nation added.

"She will be careful not to overwork her. She wants acting to be a fun extra-curricular activity for Suri," the insider dished to the website. "Katie still wants her to be a kid, but believes acting is a great art to learn, and will prove to be beneficial for Suri in the long run."

The dream role, meanwhile, was for Katie Holmes to play as Suri Cruise's mom in a future role as Tom Cruise's ex-wife allegedly thinks that it would be "hilarious."
