"X Factor" producer Simon Cowell praised his co-judge Rita Ora for her work in the reality talent show saying that the British songstress can "poke fun at herself."

Simon Cowell said that "X Factor" judge Rita Ora is a "bit of a ditz" but cleared that it is a part of her personality, Standard said.

"What I like about her is that she's not afraid to admit that," he said to The Sun.

Simon Cowell added, "She doesn't say something and then scream at the producers to edit it out. She can poke fun at herself."

Simon Cowell also admitted that he was not sure on hiring the "Poison" singer at first.

"I wasn't sure. Normally whenever we have anyone new in I'm on the phone to Louis within three hours to replace them. I'm sure he had his bags packed at the front door," he said, referring to former "X Factor" judge Louis Walsch.

The "I Will Never Let You Down" singer Rita Ora and DJ Nick Grimshaw are the show's new judges which will air on the latter part of August.

Aside from the "X Factor," Rita Ora is also busy promoting her new single with Chris Brown "Body On Me." During the promotions, she opted to wear raunchy get-ups giving an eyeful of her assets.
