Cara Delevingne 2015 Interview Reveals She's Officially Quit Modelling; Says 'It's Disgusting'

Cara Delevingne's latest 2015 interview about her career seems to be a pivotal one, as she has confirmed that she is now moving on to a new career that is not involved with modelling.

In an interview with The Times, the 23-year-old revealed just how she really feels about being in the industry where she was first known for as she admits that she is "not doing fashion work anymore."

Delevingne added that being in the fashion industry has taken a toll on her mental and physical health.

"I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge," she shared. "It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse."

"Modeling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while," the "Paper Towns" star added. "It didn't make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."

As to how the fashion industry made her do things that are not normal for a young person to do, Cara Delevingne said that she never enjoyed any of those but she felt that she had no choice as a young teen. All of this was revealed in her latest 2015 interview.

"I am a bit of a feminist and it makes me feel sick," Delevingne said. "It's horrible and it's disgusting. You start when you are really young and ... you get subjected to ... not great stuff."

In an article published by Entertainment Tonight Online, it was cited that the fans of the model-turned-actress have seen the big move from a mile away.

"I basically gave up on acting, because trying to get an agent was impossible," Cara said during a previous interview with WSJ Magazine, as quoted by the source cited above. "Everyone said, 'You're just a model. Once I had my mind set that I was going to do this modeling thing, I really wanted to beat it, if that makes sense. Win it."

"I ended up feeling a bit empty," she added in the past interview. "Fashion is about what's on the outside, and that's it. There's no searching, it's just creating pretty things."

Since her latest 2015 interview came out, Cara Delevingne's fans have showed support for the now full-fledged actress.
