'Empire' Star Terrence Howard's Third Divorce Fueled By Second Wife's Court Case?

Terrence Howard might have been enjoying professional success for his portrayal as Luscious Lyon in "Empire," but his personal life is crumbling, as he is into his third divorce.

According to New York Daily News, the actor's marriage to Mira Park already ended in divorce on July 27 even as the former couple managed to keep it secret from the media.

"Divorce paperwork obtained by The News revealed Pak, 38, filed for the secret split back in March, when she was pregnant with the couple's first child," it said. "She cited irreconcilable differences in her Chicago petition and claimed she and Howard, 46, separated in August 2014."

CDL noted, "Terrence and Mira are not discussing their divorce - but it is safe to assume that it has something to do with the messy legal battle that he is currently in the middle of with his second wife - Michelle Ghent."

It continued, "Earlier this year, around the time that Pak filed for divorce from Terrence, his messy court case with Ghent went public. Court documents revealed that Ghent was accusing the Empire star of domestic violence and abuses, and was trying to get more money out of their divorce settlement."

But Terrence Howard claimed that Michelle Ghent was blackmailing him into forking more money with her allegations of abuse.

"The 'Empire' star and lawyer Brian Kramer claim all Michelle was really entitled to was half-a-year's worth of spousal support, since the marriage lasted 1 year and the standard is to limit such support to half the time of the marriage. She got 5 years worth of support, which he says is evidence of blackmail," TMZ reported.

On Monday, "Empire" actor Terrence Howard went back to the Los Angeles courtroom as part of his petition to throw out the 2012 settlement he signed with Michelle Ghent after their divorce, after insisting that his second wife blackmailed him.
