Jennifer Garner seemed to have had more than just family to comfort her when her divorce with Ben Affleck surfaced. At the height of the issue, she also seemingly had ex-boyfriend Michael Vartan to lean on.

As reported by OK! Magazine in July, Garner has found a friend in her ex during her time of need.

"Since finding out she and Ben are on the rocks, he's been reaching out more, and she's really been enjoying memory lane," the source said.

However, the Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan reunion seemed just platonic as new reports reveal Garner and Ben Affleck were reportedly giving their marriage another try.

"This whole mess has made Ben realize he doesn't want to lose his family," a source told OK! magazine. "He's vowed to stop drinking and gambling and to be more present."

The pair along with their three children --  Violet, Seraphina and Samuel - were even seen all together to celebrate Affleck's birthday at Disney World last weekend. They couple reportedly shared one ride.

"This was all he wanted to do for his birthday, go to Disney World with his family and that included Jen," a source revealed to Us Weekly. "They planned this and all went to Orlando together."

Matt Damon even talked with Entertainment Tonight a few days ago and shared how Affleck was doing.

"It was kind of a meaningless, it was 43 you know?" he said about Affleck's birthday. "It wasn't that big. I think he was actually in Atlanta with his family. So we missed each other but... he's good. He's good."

Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan worked together in "Alias" but got together only in 2003. They split a year later and the actress then began dating Ben Affleck. The "Alias" co-star's separated on good terms though with Varner saying "Jennifer and I were best friends first, during [the romance] and after."
