Michelle Rodriguez's ex-girlfriend Cara Delevingne revealed why she is ditching modelling for a movie career.

The 23-year-old British supermodel said in an interview with The Times that she is not doing any fashion work anymore.

The model, who made it into the runway limelight during her teenage years, said that modelling "didn't make me grow at all as a human being."

Cara Delevingne said, "I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."

Michelle Rodriguez 's ex-girlfriend also said that what she has been doing for years made her hate her body, leading to a psoriasis breakout.

"It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse," the "Paper Towns" cast member said.

The Burberry and Mulberry model admitted that crew have been hiding her skin breakouts with foundation every single show.

"People would put on gloves and not want to touch me because they thought it was, like, leprosy or something," the model-turned-actress added.

The "Suicide Squad" actress added that she can now stand up for herself and for other people, People said in a report.

"If there is injustice I will flip out. If someone is crossing a line, they will know about it and so will everyone else," Michelle Rodriguez's ex-girlfriend Cara Delevingne said.

Just recently, Cara Delevingne has been vocal about her sexuality which she came to realize when she first fell in love with a woman at age 20.

She is currently dating American rocker St. Vincent after a brief relationship with actress Michelle Rodriguez.

Cara Delevingne became popular in 2010 when she graced the catwalk for top brand Burberry. She has also walked the runways of various fashion shows all over the world.

This year, Cara Delevingne is playing the lead role "Paper Towns" alongside Natt Wolfe.

Even if she was still modelling, Michelle Rodriguez's ex-girlfriend nabbed a role in the remake of "Pan" and in the upcoming movie "Suicide Squad."

Rumors have it that she will also play a role in "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.
