Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are reportedly having the time of their lives not only by portraying their on-screen characters but by just being themselves.

The adorable duo's positive vibe seemed to radiate, as they began filming their upcoming movie, "La La Land," according to "Us" magazine.

At the set of the pair's musical romance film, the "Crazy, Stupid Love" and "Star and the "Drive" actor showed off their fabulous form in retro-inspired costumes.

The 26-year-old American actress wore a short-sleeved light-blue dress, and accessorized the piece with a sunshine-yellow cross-body purse, tortoiseshell shades and black ballet flats.

On the other hand, the 34-year-old Canadian actor sported a cream button-up with rolled-up sleeves, paired with tweed pants and '50s-perfect saddle shoes.

In the musical movie "La La Land," the attractive twosome are cast as a jazz pianist and an aspiring actress who fall for each in contemporary Los Angeles.

The film, directed by Damien Chazelle, is described as an "old-fashioned musical."

The movie will be released in 2016.

Meanwhile, even though Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are both engaged in high-profile relationships, this didn't stop the silverscreen tandem from going out on a "date," reported Mail Online.

But before Andrew Garfield and Eva Mendez go into a fit, it would come as a relief for them to know that the "Gangster Squad" co-stars' intimate moment was only a scene shot for their upcoming movie "La La Land."

The two were actually filming a date scene, in which they were walking outside a movie theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

The rendezvous scene, however, did not seem to work out as planned, as the "Croods" star was seen running away from what looked like a broken sign after she attempted to open a locked door.

The "Lost River" director, on the other hand, may have displayed his character's dark side as he was seen trying to smash an encased movie poster with a metal sign.

With the current closeness being displayed by the Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, could there really be a budding romance between the two?
