Hilary Duff may be getting back together with Mike Comrie as reports of their possible reconciliation have surfaced.

As reported by OK! Magazine, the mom and dad of Luca have been apparently spotted recently on a date and how they acted with each other was purportedly more than just platonic.

"Hilary and Mike were very affectionate, openly kissing and touching," an eyewitness revealed to the source above.

"She was giggling while he played with her hair," the source added.

The onlooker even said that the couple seemed "happy and in love."

A Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie reconciliation has been swirling for a while now as the couple have been spotted many times since they announced their separation back in January 2014. In a report on Yahoo! Celebrity last January, it was cited that the pair continued to be seen hanging out with each other despite announcing they were separating.

In addition to that, Duff has always been open that she and Comrie might reconcile as she was quoted by the source above.

"I mean, if there wasn't a chance for getting back [together], I think we would've filed for divorce," she said on the The Kyle and Jackie O Show last September.

Earlier this year though, the singer-actress reportedly filed for divorce already according to TMZ citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce filing apparently came just after rumors that Comrie had a wild night in Beverly Hills surfaced.

Duff though explained the real reason why they divorced in an interview with Cosmopolitan last April.

"Mike and I were very in love when we met," Duff pointed out. "We both really wanted to get married. I'd been working since the age of 11 or 12, so making that choice at a young age seemed right for me.

"Maybe it wasn't, but we spent the majority of our time together really happy," the singer added.

"It wasn't working well enough to stay together, but there was still a lot of love involved," Hilary Duff explained then despite reports of a possible Mike Comrie reconciliation. "It was just a slow set-in of us not being the match that we used to be. I'm lucky for the person he is and I am and how we decided to handle this."
