Despite the divorce announcement with Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale was snapped still wearing his wedding ring as the rocker bonded with their six-year-old son over lunch on Friday.

"Gwen Stefani spent some time with her three sons on Sunday, it was Gavin Rossdale's turn to take on daddy duty on Friday," said Daily Mail. "The 49-year-old Bush front man was seen out with his second oldest child Zuma, six, having a lunch date with the mini rocker at a cafe n Studio City."

Zuma's older brother Kingston, 8, and the youngest baby Apollo seemed to be absent for the lunch date.

Despite announcing their divorce, Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani declared that their first priority is their three sons. The former couple also planned on having joint custody of the kids.

Gwen Stefani, for her part, already ditched her wedding ring when she went to a doctor's appointment at Cedars Sinai Hospital on Aug. 8.

The couple issued a joint statement announcing their divorce, which read, "While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment."

Gavin Rossdale once took his wedding ring off after the divorce announcement but he had good reason as he was playing tennis with a friend.

"Gavin Rossdale hit the tennis court on Wednesday to likely clear his mind a bit as he deals with the fallout of his and Gwen Stefani's surprising divorce announcement," said OK! magazine. "But the rocker's wedding ring was noticeably absent as he enjoyed his game!"

Gwen Stefani filed for divorce, through her lawyer Scott Weston, asking for joint custody of her three kids with Gavin Rossdale.

"Sources tell TMZ there is no prenup, so the 50/50 California community property laws kick in. 45-year-old Gwen is worth a reported $80 million, and 49-year-old Gavin's worth an estimated $35 million. Given the length of the marriage, that will probably all go into one pot before it's divided," the report said.
