After facing divorce rumors with husband Chad Kroeger, Avril Lavigne finds herself in the middle of a social media feud involving Taylor Swift.

The Canadian "Complicated" hit maker is allegedly in hot water with "Bad Blood" singer Taylor Swift after responding to a Twitter user comparing individual interactions with their fans.

An avid fan of Taylor Swift has posted on Tumblr a collage of pictures of singers Katy Perry, Kanye West, Avril Lavigne and Britney Spears, who all looked "bored" and "awkward" when they interact with their fans, Time said in a report.

The post also showed the "Love Story" hit maker hugging her fans and devoting time to her followers whenever she has the opportunity.

The post was then "favorited" by Taylor Swift.

In return, Avril Lavigne aired her side by posting a collage of her pictures with fans. She captioned the post, "Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are."

She added, "We all Love our fans."

Taylor Swift has still not aired her piece regarding the issue.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Life reported that Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris quickly defended his girlfriend on Twitter saying, "@AvrilLavigne she didn't judge you. She doesn't judge anyone."

The tweet added, "She was only having fun with her fans, not trying to compare herself to you."

However, the tweet was deleted according to a Tumblr account dedicated for Taylor Swift.

Before Avril Lavigne has seemingly entered a social media war against Taylor Swift's fans, the actress has faced divorce rumors with husband Chad Kroeger.

Avril Lavigne's marriage to husband, Nickelback front man Chad Kroeger, was said to be heading to a divorce after they were spotted on separate outings without their wedding rings. But the couple proved they remain strong as they even battled the "Hello Kitty" singer's Lyme disease together.

The said illness has left Avril Lavingne bed-ridden for five months.
