Tom Brady's deflategate scandal allegedly contributed to the looming divorce with Gisele Bundchen.

According to People, Tom Brady just gets into a zone when he's playing that he tends to alienate everybody else, his wife included, as the star quarterback becomes "nasty and cold."

The source told the magazine, "There have been a lot of stresses in their marriage in the last year, especially during football season. Tom is singularly focused on his career and sometimes Gisele feels left out. There have been arguments."

But the same article said that it's too early to be talking about divorce on Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's marriage.

"This summer was just a bit different," another source claimed. "Gisele had a lot going on, so they weren't always in the same place at the same time."

Tom Brady has found himself in a middle of the deflategate scandal as he was suspended after the NFL accused him of tampering with the ball in order to gain an advantage over his opponents.

The New England Patriots' quarterback denied the allegation in a long Facebook post where he wrote, "I am very disappointed by the NFL's decision to uphold the 4 game suspension against me. I did nothing wrong, and no one in the Patriots organization did either."

"There is no 'smoking gun' and this controversy is manufactured to distract from the fact they have zero evidence of wrongdoing," he added.

Meanwhile, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen opted to keep quiet amid the divorce rumors, as her Facebook posts seemed to suggest that everything is normal between them.

On Aug. 3, in fact, the model wrote a tribute to the NFL quarterback on his birthday as she shared a photo of them kissing while carrying their kids on their respective shoulders.

Gisele Bundchen wrote, "Happy birthday my love! We're so blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for always giving us so much love. We love you!"
