2015 Interview With Cara Delevingne Reveals The Real Reason Why She's Quit Modelling!

The latest 2015 interview with model Cara Delevingne has her revealing some sad facts about the industry she was previously known for.

According to an article published by The Times, Delevingne has been open to the fact that she has moved on to another career away from modelling.

The quirky celebrity shared that she likes acting and will most likely stick to doing movies. Moreso, she revealed the real reason why she left the fashion industry.

"I was, like, fight and flight for months. Just constantly on edge," the former model said, talking about how life was for her when she was a full-time model. "It is a mental thing as well because if you hate yourself and your body and the way you look, it just gets worse and worse."

"Modeling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while," the model-turned-actress added. "It didn't make me grow at all as a human being. And I kind of forgot how young I was. I felt so old."

To add to the story about her 2015 interview, Cara Delevingne said that the fact that the fashion industry promotes sexism even at a very young age makes her feel disgusted.

"I am a bit of a feminist and it makes me feel sick," the "Suicide Squad" actress said. "It's horrible and it's disgusting. You start when you are really young and ... you get subjected to ... not great stuff."

In a separate entry by another source, particularly Entertainment Tonight Online, it was revealed that apparently, Delevingne's fans have been anticipating her transfer to another industry before it even happened. The source quoted another interview that Cara went on.

"I basically gave up on acting, because trying to get an agent was impossible," she previously told WSJ Magazine revealing that acting was her first love. "Everyone said, 'You're just a model. Once I had my mind set that I was going to do this modeling thing, I really wanted to beat it, if that makes sense. Win it."

"I ended up feeling a bit empty," she previously added. "Fashion is about what's on the outside, and that's it. There's no searching, it's just creating pretty things."

More interviews for 2015 are lined up for Cara Delevingne, now that she has been accepting more and more acting projects under her belt.
