An almost Mrs. Cruise has surfaced amid rumors that Tom Cruise may be proposing soon to his rumored new girlfriend.

According to a report on Mail Online, a Norwegian beauty by the name of Anette Iren Johansen has surfaced to reveal how she almost became Mrs. Cruise after allegedly being tricked by the Church of Scientology in 2005.

Johansen revealed that she was invited to audition to do a training video for Scientology but was surprised by some peculiar situations during the process, including being asked about her "sexual irregularities."

"I was shocked," she revealed. I've seen a lot of crazy things in Scientology, so I thought whatever," she told Mail Online. "So I just went with it, but it was awkward."

"They then had this videotape of me," she added. "Marc Headley [an ex-Scientologist and then head of production at Golden Era] told me later that they had screened all potential girlfriends for Cruise in LA and the US, so were looking abroad, to try to better their prospects."

After a few years, Johansen read the reports about castings for a Mrs. Cruise under Scientology and was surprised to realize it was what she went through.

Officials of the group has denied having such auditions to get the actor a partner.

Johansen's appearance came just weeks after it was rumored that Tom Cruise may have a new girlfriend in Emily Thomas. In July, as told by The Telegraph, it was even rumored that he was planning on proposing.

"Tom has fallen head over heels for Emily, and she feels the same way," a source revealed then. "He always seemed really happy when she was around and incredibly proud to have her by his side."

But the rumors of Tom Cruise and his alleged new girlfriend Emily Thomas was quashed when the "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" production assistant took to Facebook to post her picture with her real boyfriend as reported by Mirror.
