Lamorne Morris was asked to spill the name of his "New Girl" co-star Zooey Deschanel's baby and like a good gentleman, he demurred.

Talking to People magazine, Lamorne Morris claimed that although he knows the name of Zooey Deschanel's baby, he couldn't possibly reveal it without the permission of the actress.

However, the actor knows that Zooey Deschanel will make a great mother judging by the way she acts around her friends on the set.

"She's a great mum to us on set," he said. "She puts the hammer down on the craziness we do from time to time. She gives me advice on every aspect of my life. Family, finances... She's very smart. Very healthy. She'll teach her daughter how to eat right, that's for sure."

Lamorne Morris also said that the little tot looks just like her, and nothing like father Jacob Pechenik.

"Two good-looking parents will make a good-looking kid. Unless there's that one where you're like, 'Oh, you're going to make a terrible child,'" the "New Girl" actor quipped. "But that was not gonna happen with these two.'"

The cast of "New Girl" actually had fun making up names for Zooey Deschanel's baby during an interview with E! News.

Hannah Simone said, "Baby names! I hadn't even thought of that yet. Maybe if it's a boy we'll call him Lil Coach."

She also suggested that they all could take turns as babysitter because nobody is going to be present during the delivery of their co-star's child.

"L. Ron Hubbard, that's what you should name your kid. Just rolls off the tongue, cool as hell man," Lamorne Morris joked as the perfect name for a baby.

Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik welcomed their baby back in July. The rep of the actress issued a statement which read, "I am thrilled to confirm that Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik are new parents to a beautiful healthy baby girl."
