Pink Hints Demi Lovato Was ‘Forgettable;’ Escalates VMA Feud With ‘Cool For The Summer’ Singer?

Pink seemingly hinted that Demi Lovato was "forgettable" and somewhat escalated her VMA feud with the "Cool for the Summer" singer.

According to a report from MTV, the "So What" singer took to social media to express her disappointment over this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMA).

"I felt embarrassed and sad," Pink said on her personal Instagram account soon after the annual awards show aired.

"In all seriousness; I felt sad because music is supposed to inspire. It saved my life. This trash won't save any kids life."

"In a world that is even scarier and with lives still worth saving, who will stand up and have soul?" she asked.

The Grammy-winning singer then shared how only a few artists were noteworthy at this year's VMAs.

"Disenfranchised to say the least. Let down by my industry and peers," Pink said.

"Beside Macklemore and Pharrell and Bieber (pre-sob fest) and The Weekend, Tori Kelly was dope too."

"The rest was gross and embarrassing and hard for this aging pop star to believe," she blasted.

Fans noticed how Pink excluded Demi Lovato from the list of VMA performers that she liked. According to a report from Too Fab, the former Disney star spoke up about the issue after fans insinuated that she was among the singers that Pink called out.

"'Cool For The Summer' may not 'save kid's lives' or 'inspire' but I'd say Skyscraper and Warrior have done a pretty good job of helping people cope with mental illness," Demi Lovato explained in a Twitter post last Friday.

"VMA's are sexy and fun. There's a time and place for everything."

New York Daily News reported how Pink denied Demi Lovato feud rumors, but seemed to hint that the 22-year-old singer was "forgettable."

"Please look for a feud elsewhere," she added. "I have no issue with Demi Lovato or anyone else. I actually forgot she performed."
